THE PERFECT ROSE FOR YOU
When I look upon the color pink
I feel a calming glow
It's as though the color washes me
A lightness for my soul
I close my eyes to become
One with this tranquilizing mood
I then invision the perfect rose
Being painted with this hue
The two combine, are intertwined
A glorious transformation
As each one gathers from the other
The gifts of God's creation
Together now the two are one
A fragrant colored flower
To hold us breathlessly in awe
By the magic of its power
To gaze upon, to pass along,
To those that we hold dear
So they may know our love for them
Blossoms more each year
